TORONTO, ONTARIO–On Thursday, June 9 and Monday, June 13, two employee appreciation events were held in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 to celebrate and thank Toronto Pearson employees for their steadfast dedication, hard work and incredible “I Am Toronto Pearson” spirit. 

Members of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) Executive and Senior Leadership teams were present to greet airport workers, welcome them with refreshments and thank them for their contributions over the past weeks and months.

“We’re here to celebrate your unwavering commitment to remaining Pearson Strong and we want to express our appreciation for all the work you do,” said Deborah Flint, President and CEO, Toronto Pearson. “Despite the immediate challenges we’re facing, we are coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic stronger and more resilient than ever before. We continue to advocate with government for the changes we need to see to bring Pearson up to the world-class standards that our passengers deserve.”
