Material movements

To move or transport materials at Pearson Airport, complete and submit the Material Movements Form. You will receive an email with your Material Movement Permit, which you need to print copies of to keep with you and in your vehicle.

You don't need email approval from Pearson for your permit, but be aware that officials may cancel or stop this movement at any time without notice.

Activity Notice

The Activity Notice process replaces the Project Logistics Plan (PLP). It is the approval document you will need to present to Security, Groundside or FedEx Supply Chain personnel upon request.

Tenant deliveries within the terminals

You can move material within the Terminal buildings during the following non-peak hours:

  • Terminal 1: Every day from 9:00 pm to 12:00 noon
  • Terminal 3: Every day from 11:00 pm to 12:00 noon

Liquid, gels and goods for passengers

This permit cannot be used for the movement of liquid, gels and any goods meant for passenger purchase or consumption. For those items, existing delivery policies apply.

Crossing the primary security line (PSL)

If you are a tenant crossing the Primary Security Line (PSL) with material, you will be required to complete, print and provide your permit to mover personnel. Movers conducting deliveries must be prepared to present this permit as well as open any container or packaging if requested by the security personnel.

Loading docks

To reserve a loading dock, contact FedEx Supply Chain to schedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. You will need to provide the authorizing name and company name noted on the permit to secure your appointment.

When moving material from terminal to terminal, you will need to make a dock appointment at each building. Be sure to keep a copy of your permit on the vehicle dashboard while at the dock.
