Airlines continue strong relaunch of routes during October

With a continued easing of air travel restrictions by the Government of Canada, our airline partners are having been working hard to bring the world back to your doorstep. The airport is abuzz with activity this October as Air Canada, WestJet, Air Transat and Sunwing relaunch the following routes:

Air Canada

  • Austin, 6X per week (October 1)
  • Curacao, 1x per week (October 1)
  • Antigua, 1x per week (October 3)
  • Aruba, 1x per week (October 3)
  • Saint Lucia, 1x per week (October 3)
  • Liberia, Costa Rica, 1x per week (October 9)
  • San Jose, Costa Rica, 1x per week (October 13)

WestJet

  • Liberia, 1x per week (October 2)
  • Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, 1x per week (October 5)
  • New York (La Guardia), daily (October 13)

Air Transat

  • Holguin, Cuba, 1x per week (October 1)
  • Varadero, Cuba, 1x per week (October 1)

Sunwing

  • Cayo Coco, Cuba, 1x per week (October 9)

Swoop

  • Orlando, 2x per week (October 9)

We’re encouraged by these returning routes, as they bode well for Toronto Pearson’s recovery, and that of the aviation industry in general.
