We are proud to share that the Strategic Sourcing team at the GTAA is the category winner of the Mid-size Enterprise Award at the 2022 World Procurement Awards!
The specific category won was about showcasing a complex team transformation and the challenges that were faced along the way. In our team’s case, this included a complete redesign of the organizational and cultural process, eventually needing to adjust to and navigate through the pandemic while still supporting airport operations, key GTAA initiatives and delivering value. None of this would have been possible without a shared vision, diverse talent and, most of all, an engaged and supportive team.

But by restructuring the team, providing new training opportunities, overhauling its processes and implementing new initiatives such as supplier relationship management and a sustainable procurement programme, the team has transformed into a trusted partner that works collaboratively with stakeholders across the contract lifecycle.
