We’re committed to providing a smooth and enjoyable airport experience for all. We have worked hard to identify, remove and prevent barriers for people with disabilities, and we continue to engage with our community to bring further improvements to Toronto Pearson.
We’re proud to partner with Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides and West Jet to provide a training facility for Dog Guides. The partnership between the three organizations aims to improve independent travel and customer service for travellers of all abilities.
Beginning July 20, passengers and employees will see Dog Guides in training and their trainers in Terminal 3 walking through all aspects of the airport experience. From check-in and security screening to boarding an aircraft, these guide dogs in training will familiarize themselves with the airport.
