Diversity and inclusion is a top priority at Toronto Pearson. This is reflected by the opening of an all-gender washroom in the Terminal 1 international arrivals area.
In keeping with our focus on health, all the washrooms have touchless door openers that are activated by motion. All washroom fixtures are touchless as well, including the toilets, faucets and soap dispensers. Each washroom stall contains its own sink, and Sharps disposal units have been included in each stall for ease of needle disposal.
All-gender washrooms are an important part of making the airport a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
