This year we celebrate a significant achievement as we proudly mark 10 years of our Welcome Team volunteers, who have been an integral part of our airport's community since 2013!
In their distinctive bright blue uniforms, two hundred volunteers assist millions of Toronto Pearson passengers every year. Positioned in strategic high-traffic areas throughout our terminals, they are always ready to assist with general wayfinding, answer questions, and help passengers feel more comfortable at our airport.
On November 30, 2023, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Welcome Team at our celebration event appropriately themed “The Decade.” This special gathering honoured all our volunteers who are bringing back the joy of travel, including recognition for those achieving five- and ten-year milestones.
