Skin of Light

In 1991, Revington was awarded Canada Council Prix de Rome in Architecture.

The undulating shapes of Skin of Light may be reminiscent of air movement over a surface or the movement of water. As Revington explains, “the wave behind the stone in a stream remains always at the same place while new water perpetually flows through it. The wind behind the wing lifts it in flight. Form behind movement. Movement behind form. And between them, such stillness, we start from.”
